I am not 100% convinced this was a “diesel tank”. Having seen over a dozen diesel tanks explode (most in tests) this explosion looks nothing like it. It is not a boil-over either, but I am pretty sure the FD would know the difference between LPG tank and a diesel tank. In what I can see this was a BLEVE, but do BLEVE’s occur with atmospheric vessels containing combustible liquids with high BP’s? Watch and let me know what you think…
