A few weeks back, the “Video of the Week” was an older NH3 training video which contained some footage showing a test where NH3 vapor was being ignited out in an open field but as soon as the torch was removed the flames went away. But if we have NH3 confined within a room/structure, the result is quite different, as can be seen in this week’s video. As they say, NH3 does not “explode”, it deflagrates, but damn it is an energetic deflagration!
