EPA RMP triggers to have your case referred to DOJ

Here are the six (6) triggers that will get your RMP Inspection Case referred to DOJ:

1. Penalty greater than $320,000*
2. The facility will require more than one (1) year to return to compliance
3. Significant accident (fatality, multiple injuries, etc.)
4. Nationally significant issue
5. Multiple-statute case
6. CAA 112(r) or EPCRA AND Air, Water, RCRA, etc.
