For the 2024 edition:

  • annex section A.4.5.5 has been added to clarify that power to a protective gas supply must be activated regardless of whether there is power to a protected enclosure and the equipment within the enclosure.
  • The definition for hazardous (classified) locations has also been added from the NEC®
