MAGNESIUM FIRE Worker Burned at 2-Alarm Business Fire (a worker suffered burns to at least 50 percent of his body in a fire at a metal finishing business – the injured worker was taken by ground ambulance to a Hospital – the commercial building contained magnesium and since firefighters with the Volunteer Fire Department did not have the Class D foam used to extinguish metal fires, everyone inside the building was evacuated – the Emergency Operations Branch of Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office was dispatched to the fire with the Class D foam)
