Ever wondered what 10-15 tons of Anhydrous Ammonia looks like when it is released from a busted hose during unloading? Wondered how big would the cloud be? How dense is the cloud? Does the cloud rise or fall to the ground? Well here are some great shots showing us all these things.
A total of 202 people fell ill after the ammonia gas leak. The leak occurred at 8:40 a.m. when a truck carrying 30 tonnes of liquid ammonia was unloading at the factory of Chifeng Pharmaceutical Group, but was sealed in about 50 minutes.
