On 06 June, to 8.30 h, it happened a fatal accident in the Plant of NONONO, in Brazil. The victim, a worker of NONONO (ABB), it was cleaning the contacts of a key seccionadora, of a substation of 69KV (energized), which is located out of the plant – 2 kilometers of the industrial area. In the moment of the work, the worker didn’t obey safety’s of 95 cm minimum limit to hold the stick, holding him/it to 54 cm, consequently he was reached by an electric discharge (approximately 39KV), coming to die soon after. He had second burns and third degree. ABB is a specialized company in this activity where was a skilled performer and the employee, that he/she was 33 years old, worked for ABB 12 years ago.
