Before you go off saying their standards are different than ours, these EXCEL Spreadsheets can be modified using OSHA numbers/factors. These are just EXCELLENT TOOLS for those of you trying to establish if workers are exceeding the Action Level or PEL for noise exposures AND these tools will perform the “Hearing Protection Attenuation” evaluation for you. This attenuation evaluation is one of the most missed aspects of a Hearing Conservation Program and this tool makes it so much easier than doing it “long hand” using the 1910.95 appendix.
Exposure calculators and ready-reckoners

Noise exposure ready-reckoners
The noise exposure ready-reckoners allow you to estimate daily or weekly noise exposure. To use the daily exposure ready-reckoner you will need to know the levels of noise and duration of exposure that make up a person’s working day. For weekly noise exposure, appropriate where somebody’s noise exposure varies markedly from day to day, you will need to know the daily noise exposure for each day in the working week. These ready-reckoners can be printed for completion by hand.
