NIOSH Approved?!?!?!?! Functional yes, but using PVC from your local hardware store and dishwashing parts to modify your respirator may be making it more user friendly, but it is also compromising safety!

I know we debate the level of safety that is acceptable and that we can not be expected to protect those too ignorant to protect themselves, but this may be a “sign” that we have exceeded our own expectations! This one is even worse than “don’t stick your hand into that hole in the lawnmower/snowblower”!
