Excellent explanation of the HFO-1234yf transition

This video is from 2013, but I thought they did such an excellent job explaining 1234yf and how we went from 134a to this new refrigerant I should share it for context.  I have been very hard on the suppliers of this new Low GWP refrigerant over the years and this video sums up the journey well.  The only thing I take issue with is comparing a Cat 1 Flammable GAS with other flammable LIQUIDS used in automobiles; however, to be fair the amount in the car is not my concern.  I am a safety engineer who works 100% in industrial facilities; I have no experience or education on vehicle safety design.  They say it is safe for vehicles and I will take their word for it, based on the small quantities in the vehicle; however, when a facility has over 10,000 pounds of this Cat 1 Flammable Gas I take serious issue with the “downplaying” of it’s hazard and the use of the term “mildly flammable”.  But this video is an excellent journey to where we are now with vehicle refrigerants.  I have also been told there is a serious research effort underway to blend R-134a with R-1234yf and this blend will reduce the flammability to a level that it may not even be a Cat 2 Flammable Gas.  We also see a move towards the use of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) as an option in vehicles.
