MSA has received a copy of a safety alert concerning an issue with the engagement of the locking pins on the FP Stryder Beam Anchor, PN 10051455. The wide circulation of this alert has created a number of questions and some confusion. It has led some to believe that MSA issued a safety notice for the FP Stryder Beam Anchor and that all FP Stryder Beam Anchors are to be removed from service. This is not true. MSA has not issued any safety notice on this product. The alert being circulated via the Internet was originated within a single company who alleges that their product did not function properly.
