Not having an ammonia detection system, which had been cited the previous year, also as a GDC; however, it seems the business was sold, and the new owner was cited for not addressing the detection system.
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees are exposed to chemical and respiratory hazards from ammonia:
a) On or about January 14, 2025, an ammonia detection system was not present at the facility to detect the presence of anhydrous ammonia.
