The Ohio EPA RMP Group has posted a CHECKLIST FOR SIMPLE REVALIDATION (pdf) on their RMP Page of thier website. This 6-page checklist appears to be an excellent tool for “revalidating” your Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) every 5-years. You can download their pdf version HERE. SAFTENG members can download a different version by logging in and clicking on the “Membership necessary to read article…” link below. I have created a WORD Document with Yes/No/NA form fields so this checklist functions as a checklist. I recently used it for a Ohio Refrigeration process and it worked well, stirring discussions about changes to the process since the last PHA.
