U.S. EPA updates list of states granted delegation of EPA’s authority to implement and enforce the risk management program rule?

The current list of delegated states and counties is:

NOTE: Kentucky, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands no longer implement the program, and the regional office has taken over the implementation of those areas.

  1. Delaware
  2. Florida
  3. Georgia
  4. Mississippi
  5. New Jersey
  6. North Carolina
  7. North Dakota
  8. Ohio
  9. South Carolina

Additionally, the following territories and local jurisdictions have delegation:

  1. Jefferson County (KY),
  2. Forsyth County (NC),
  3. Buncombe County (NC), and
  4. Mecklenburg County (NC)

Florida has a partial delegation (everything but propane facilities), and North Dakota has a partial delegation (only Agricultural Ammonia facilities).
