AERIAL LIFT FATALITY Man Dies After Falling from Lift at Pius High School (maintenance worker, 65, died after falling from lift at a High School – he fell from a scissor lift approximately 30 feet from the wood gym floor – he was repairing a heavy curtain in the gym that divides the gym into smaller sections when he fell to the ground – X-ray, CT Scan and a visual exam revealed massive pelvic injuries, a lumbar and thoracic fracture, a small right apical pneumothorax, a retropertoneal hematoma, and a right arm puncture wound – he was taken to an Emergency Room and was pronounced dead at 2:46 AM)
