These are a serious of videos that demonstrate how “hot taps” are made. Some may think a “hot tap” is a disaster waiting to happen ( I know I did when I was first exposed to it); but in reality, in some situations it is actually MORE SAFE. The principle is based on wokring ABOVE THE UEL of the flammable substances. ALWAYS remember that it is the gas/vapor that burns and NOT the liquid and that the gas/vapor MUST be within it’s flammable range to ignite.
