You will not stop all human error
You will not stop all human error, but you can work on why those errors occurred and reduce the frequency, severity, and likelihood of humans to make similar mistakes. Trace the triggers backward and you’ll find a cause. “Be more careful and pay attention” are not root causes. People and businesses have a tendency to slowly fade or drift away from the straight and narrow
One key thing you can do to keep your safety culture thriving is to focus and watch for drift. People and businesses have a tendency to slowly fade or drift away from the straight and narrow. Sometimes on purpose but often just because we are human. #safety #lead #grow
