Since I was a student in safety at MSU, there has been a “Risk Model” that depicts a zoo worker feeding a lion in its cage. This model has been revised many times, but it does a great job of providing a visual display of how risk can change based on how the “system” is engineered. However, the most recent version of this model indicates a “Zero Risk” level.
