I am always amazed at how society sees failures like organizations do. If the DOJ truly believes what they claim to have found in the 2-year investigation of the MPD, then why did they prosecute the officers on the scene, some of which never touched Mr. Floyd?
How many city council members and MPD Administration members that allowed these failures to persist for years and years will be prosecuted?

When you hear the phrase “Active Failures,” or some may call it the “tip of the spear,” that is, the police officers on scene that day.
When you hear me use the phrase “Latent Organizational Failures,” that is what the DOJ says they found in their investigation, and that leads to headlines with words like “systemic.”
Could it be the behaviors of those officers on that deadly day in Minneapolis were simply a reflection of the real problem within the leadership ranks of the PD?
