Safety thought of the day… are we not safety professionals in our hearts and souls in the little hopes that we leave this world a better place than how we found it? What profession allows a committed individual to make such a profound impact on those around us?
LIVE SAFETY and I promise you-you will help others live a long, healthy, and fruitful life with their loved ones. They may not appreciate our efforts in the heat of the battle, but when they retire and reach down to pick up their grandchild, they may recall that LOTO training or that discussion at their machine about machine guarding and a brief smile will cross their face because YOU CARED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE in their life. We did not do it for OSHA or our WC carrier or even our boss – we did it to make a difference, even if we have to do it one worker at a time.
